Sinking beneath waves of pink

Gasp! Like swimming in a strawberry milkshake!

What lovely Photoshop skills, you say?

No no no. This is actually (the very real) Lake Retba aka Lac Rose, located North of the Cap Vert peninsula of Senegal, North East of Dakar.

The pretty pink hue is caused by the micro-organism known as Dunaliella Salina, and the high salt content (Much like that of the Dead Sea) nears almost 40%.

Fun, right?

Bisous!
